A tall story

Design duo Eley Kishimoto have found a larger-than-usual surface for their creations.

Husband-and-wife Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto have been hired by property developer Almacantar to be “a creative ambassador” for the revival of Centre Point, the 1960s eyesore/iconic building at the Tottenham Court Road end of London’s Oxford Street.

Eley Kishimoto’s print will be applied to the 385ft tall facade layer upon layer, while the building is converted into 82 “exclusive” flats due to open in early 2017.
