Lumiere London: A sneak Peek

As part of the Lumiere London festival which starts today, the iconic neon letters from the Centre Point building will make Trafalgar Square their home while the landmark, which was commissioned by Harry Hyams and designed by Richard Seifert, is transformed into a new residential, restaurant and retail destination by property development and investment company Almacantar.

This is a unique opportunity to view one of the London skyline’s main points of reference up close on the North Terrace in Trafalgar Square. The Grade II-listed Centre Point, which was built in 1966, is the only building to have a dedicated installation during the festival, and its seven foot-high letters will join the thirty other installations across the capital.

Luxury London has been given a sneak peek at the installation ahead of its launch, but we can’t wait to take a trip down to Trafalgar Square to see it in person.
